boomer 20 25 hydraulic noise!!!!! HELP

Most tractor pumps are straight cut and if not sucking air there is very little noise and run fairly smooth. Now it could be that he is talking about the drive gears and then with straight cut is a little noiser.

I have basically had it with New Holland. Im ready to give up on this issue with this tractor. I have talked to multiple New Holland and LS owners and no one has had this issue. Something is wrong with this machine. I have worked on equipment for years and I am a service technician myself by trade, I know when something doesn't sound right and I just hope they find a solution to the issue.

Update! I picked my Boomer 20 back up today and still no solution. The new holland rep is going to Kansas for training this week and will be back in two weeks with some kind of solution. If not I will be pushing for them to take the tractor back and replace it with another unit or ill be upgrading to a different model. I now own a tractor that has pieces of rubber stuffed under the seat and wrapped around hydro lines to try and solve my issue. If I can figure out how to upload a video I will so you all can hear this.

Update. Still no solution from new holland, but I have figured out that when I run the mid pto for the belly mower the noise gets so loud my wife came outside to see if I had hit something. New Holland rep will be here thursday to check the machine out. I also have a hydraulic leak in the front axle and the hydraulic drive seems to be loosing power when the pto is being used. I think I got a bad model

I think JJ has it with a relief valve going nuts.

In my tool box I've a mechanic's stethoscope that I use to determine driveline noises and such. It works well but there is a bit of art to it since driveline noises tend to rattle around throughout the the entire machine. At any-rate, it may be well worth your time to purchase this tool and spend quality time listening to everything. Generally, the louder the noise you hear that is the same type of ambient noise you're hearing with your open ears, the closer you are to the point of origin but do keep in mind that some metal shapes act like a bell and can amplify the noise you're hearing.

Ok another update! New holland service rep showed up to inspect the Boomer. His comment was"wow that thing is loud" The service rep from new holland was super nice and very honest in his solution. Which was to talk to sales about getting rid of the machine and getting another one. I have talked to the owner of the dealership and still have not recieved an answer since Thursday. I know its only been two days but I would expect some kind of response after spending a good amount of money on a 3000 pound paper weight. They are talking about getting a boomer 25 in to replace the 20. I will keep you all updated.

If they swap the tractor, can you ask them to tell you what the problem was when they find out?
I, for one am very curious to know what it was. Your description sounds like a factory jammed or reversed valve.

The new holland guy along with the service manager at the dealership said that the relief valve is working normal and that everything is operating as it should. Also they said the tractor would probably run for years without issues. However who would want to own something that everytime you use it you wanna drive it into a lake. I know noisescan travel throughout the whole machine and I get that. Im going to upload a video to you tube so everyone can hearthis noise. It unreal
