Welcome to TBN.

If the Boomer 30 MFWD is set up like my TC29DA, MFWD in engaged/disengaged via a lever on the left fender. PTO RPM speed is controlled by the throttle setting which may be the lever to the right of the steering wheel.

If you have an owner's manual it would be really helpful to read it carefully and often. I still read mine.

I have no owners manual which is part of the issue. It is ordered but, not here yet.

It is unfortunate that the owner's manual did not come with the tractor.

If this is your first tractor I wish you many boring hours of operation.

Boring is good. Exciting  is not

On my Boomer 24 there is a lever on the left hand side. It has 4wd, N and 2wd.

PTO is controlled by the engine speed. 2400 rpm = 540 PTO for my boomer 24. Your speed may be different, but that is printed on the dash right above or under the tachometer for me so hard to miss.

I love my boomer 24 it runs like a champ. Easy to use for a first time tractor owner.
