Now that the sale of the TC45D and all the implements is a "done deal", I'll be looking to replace it in a couple of months. I have narrowed my choices down to the Boomer 46D CVT or 54D CVT with cab and loader.
Specs for the two appear to be the same except for engine HP. Is the HP difference just a tweak of the computer programming? Is the 8 HP difference noticeable and worth the extra cost?
The emission controls for these tractors is a "Particulate Matter Catalyst" and not a DPF as on many units of this size. I think this means that particulate matter is continuously burned off and does not go through a periodic regeneration cycle?
Any cautions that I should be aware of with these tractors?
