Boomer 50/LS XR4150 Battery Replacement

I couldn't find what Group Battery is in these tractors on the web so here's what I did. Original "Rocket" battery is about 10.5"x6.5" wide. Group 34 in the charts measure a little wider. I took a chance and with a tape measure went to Walmart and low and behold their Group 34 is actually a little smaller than the rocket in Length x Width. Picked one up, brought it home and it went right in. Since it's a little shorter the clamp down doesn't engage it so I just made a little shim from a piece of old stall mat. That said the Group 24 online specs show as the same dimensions as the Group 34 except a little taller. I bet the Group 24 is the call for these series tractors. Please post your solutions! Thanks!

That's pretty much how I fit batteries when it's not clear what the OEM battery is. My last swap was on the Kubota tractor that measured out close enough to a group 24.
I have also used spacers on the sides or bottom to fit batteries that were otherwise acceptable in CCA specs.
