I sure hope those J.D. boots work better than my best friends J.D. tractor. If they end up broken down and useless, fill them with dirt and plant flowers in them. That's what the ole ball & chain does with my worn out clods.

jinman...everytime I see that picture I think you were trying to bury your tractor...

could you actually back up at that angle?

Well, my channel was 6' wide and about 4' deep. Just two more feet and it would have been 6' under.

...and no, I could not back up. Once I committed, it was go forward to the bottom. Once I turned around, I could climb out almost that steep in the forward direction. It's incredible what a FWD tractor with a full bucket will climb.
