Sounds like an oil pressure switch. Could be the problem.

Yeah thats all it was.I took her to the neighbors after warming it up.It spit and sputtered only a couple times ,but not at his place.He cracked the injectors and got air out.He sprayed either around the clamps,saying if it was sucking it would surge the engin [good idea i guess 30 years as a diesal guy gives you this knowledge.]He couldnt find anything.He basically told me when you change them filters you lose alot of fuel,and sometimes it takes alot of patience getting the air out.It did run 90% better tonight,hope hes right.Ill just have to wait and see.Ithink a good test would be put on the chipper and give her a good workout on high rpm.I gotta figure this out,my warranty runs out in a couple months.
I will say this: If this is gonna happen every time i change the inline filters,i wont change them til it starts running bad.Us MAINERS have a saying "if it aint broke dont fix it" i should have listened.
NOW QUESTION FOR ALL THE BX 23 OWNERS: when you changed your own inline filters ,did the standard turn on the key procedure work for you,or did you have to do all this?

I have knocked that sender switch wire off before (hard getting a filter strap wrench in there!) but it just made my oil light come on.

Mine sputtered 30 seconds after filter change, then ran fine.

I've not had mine off yet and unless the engine starts acting up I won't change 'em out until the 400hr maintenance.
I bought a set of filters back when I bought the 50hr parts and they're still in the packaging, ready when needed.

Back in the day when I wrenched Detroit diesels we would fill the filter canister with fuel before we installed the new filter element(s), this helped bleeding the air out on them old war horses

Stopped at the KUBOTA dealer to get an air filter,and tell of my problem.They told me to spend 3 bucks and trash them wire fuel line clamps.They dont like them,and are willing to bet im sucking air by one of them.Ill let you guys know.

HEY FOLKS ,STILL NEED HELP HERE.
I changed the clamps ,it seemed to stop the air problem.The tractor just dont seem itself though,even after 20 hours more.It doesnt sound like all the cylinders are 100 % ,of course every one else thinks im nuts,but i know this tractor.Every now and then ,i can smell raw fuel comingthrough the exhaust. ANY IDEAS? i NEED TO GET THIS THING TO THE DEALER ,I SUPPOSE.only 3 months of warrenty left.

CANT SAY IVE LOOKED.It sure smells like it.very strong diesal fuel smell,really stinks.Never smelled this bad in first 300 hours.Doesnt stink all the time.I will look next time.Will i see it or is it burning off in the muffler?Im curious now what you guys might be thinking,but im jumping ahead.

If you smell it, and there is no liquid fuel anywhere, I might be inclined to look elsewhere other than the exhaust. Also, I am no expert (some diesel expert needs to step in) but if you have raw fuel in a hot exhaust pipe, it should smoke or do something "obvious" in the exhaust. Like smoke? I have a vague memory of raw diesel fuel being dumped in the exhaust of some half tracks in the Army (obviously a lot of fuel) and those suckers created a lot of smoke, which was the point, to make us hard to see.
