JD 770, Yanmar 180D, JD 420 (not running), had a Kubota B6200
Been looking quite awhile to replace my Yanmar 180. Wanted a little more power & a loader on a JD or Kubota. Couldn't go too large because I need to get between my trees & decided an 870 I looked at was too big. Surprised to find a Landini dealer had a nice 770, but the price, although reasonable, was higher than I wanted to pay but then, I always want to buy something cheaper than market. After talking with him awhile, he came down $750, then $1,000, then $1,100.

A little online research showed very few 770's with loaders & most of the others were 2WD with MMM's for about $8,000.

So, I ended up with a 4WD 770 in nice condition, no dents, 1250 hrs, with a loader for $8,400. Loader is aftermarket (SMC) & moves full height in about 2 or 3 seconds. Bucket is straight. Tires are wider than stock, AGs with about 65% left. For that price he will also build a detachable tooth bar for the loader & weld some hooks on top of the bucket. Delivery is Friday. The search is over!

Sounds like you got yourself a good deal. I've had an 870 for 6 years and so far it's been very reliable. They seem to run forever on a tank full of diesel and are very easy to maintain.
Have fun with it.
