Well, if the paper work is done, and its yours now, I would not even ask a question like that, but, sounds like you got a good deal, If you were in the south, that might been a little high, but your not, your in Seattle. Its a very nice unit, a friend paid just about that much for a L3700 a while back, same type set up, but a Bush Hog / not a Post hole digger. You also have Kubota Insurance, and some kinda of pay off insurance, bilt into the note, so its going to be OK. What font end loader bucket did you get, also is it SSQA, or bolt on?

I buy new more often than used and both have worked for me quite well.

Yeah... tractor depreciation is so slow that it often doesn't make sense to buy used, unless you're already an expert mechanic who is totally comfortable working on a 30 year old machine with 10000+ hours on it...

Push some dirt, dig up some rocks, drill some post holes, have fun, and don't worry about second-guessing your pricing!

Congrats, on your new Kubota. Don't worry to much about what you paid as that's already past, just have fun when you play----er work with your new Kubota.

I just hope i didnt over pay. I know buying new is never the way to go but with zero intrest its hard to argue.

I don't know about that my BIL went an auction with a guy over the weekend trying
help pick out a decent used tractor, it went for $12k heck he said it only sold
new for $14K. He also said it looked like cr@p. I don't understand why
people get caught up in these auctions the way they do.

My wife and her late Father almost always bought new, running a Dairy years
ago you pretty much depended on your equipment for your livelihood.

Thats a good size, I find the L3700 I get to play around with, has plenty of power for even the 66 inch bucket. With the SSQA you will be able to change front implemts quickley. Working up in PA at my friends, I can't find good help, IE kids, 16 to 22 looking to make a little money, ie 7 to 10 dolllars an hour, for the stuff I cant do from the tractor. Picking up small sticks, and rocks, and racking the newely cleand out areas out. I might even have to look into geting a front hyd grapple. The old farm we are cleaning up has not had a crop in over thirty years, and the briars have took over, and to get them under control, have to pull them up by the roots, but if you don't shake them you will loose all your good top soil.

Same darned problem here, everyone wants money, but no one wants to work for it. We hired two groups of kids and the first just wanted to ride our ATV's around pulling empty trailers and play grab *** while the second didn't come back after the first day and this is not hard work.
