Bought a New L3902, turned out to be a 2019

Thanks for everyone's response. So for more clarity my serial number begins with KB According to Kubota Engine Serial Number ID | Kubota Engine America. K is for 2019 and B is January.

Brain cramp on my end, I've been reading an L2501 thread; I meant L3902.

Anyhow, I'm under the impression the L02 series didn't yet exist in 2019.

It didn't that's why I was confused. Unless they started it as a l3901 that paused for covid and then was made into a l3902..lol.

They don’t build every tractor part the day before assembly. Just because the engine was built in 2019 doesn’t mean the tractor was.

Given the market shortage in 19/20 I find it hard to believe a tractor sat for 3+ years on a lot unsold. Possible the frame or engine was built in 2019 but I’d find it hard to believe the tractor is that old.

Well, what are the engine differences between the L3901 and L3902? Are they the same?

Look for a decal on the valve cover it should have all the engine info on it, It will say the date on it.
