Bought a Tractor Today

Thanks to everyone who helped on my previous post about new 2011 Kioti CK30 for 16K vs 3 year old, but new, Bobcat CT230 for 13K.

I went to another dealer today and decided to pull the trigger on a new 2011 Bobcat CT235 with Bobtach loader and the optional suspension seat. Delivered price was $14,800. I figured I split the difference on price but got a more powerful tractor that was the current year, or very close, and the QA loader that I wanted. I will post, or try to, pics when it gets delivered.

Please remeber that according TBN Rule #2165 Part D says that you can't announce a new machine without pics. I got caught up in this rule but avoided any penalties.

Congratulations and welcome to the Bobcat group. That is one heck of price for 235 considering current list is $186xx plus freight, prep, delivery, and extra $500 for the QA loader. Come to around $5K off list.

How is it set up? R4s or R1 tires, suspension seat, rear remotes?

It has the "General Purpose" tires as they call them. They look very similar to R4's. Its has the suspension seat, but I didn't go with rear remotes. Being a newbie to all this I didn't know if I would use them. Dealer said he would add any time for $500. I don't know if that's a good deal, or not.

I would very strongly to spend the money and get the 2 remotes, sometime in the future you will have a hydraulic attachment, and kick yourself for not getting them!!.

Congrats on the new tractor and by all means go with 2 rear remotes. My Kioti came with one. Bought another rear remote for 275$ from dealers stock. Looks to take me about 2 hours, may be less when it gets warmer. When you get going you'll find rear remotes are "GOT TO HAVE PARTS" Happy tractoring and don't forget the pics . . .John

That is a very good price with R4 GP tires and suspension seat. The 2 valve rear remote is $500 list price for kit only without labor, so if dealer will install it that's great, but anyone who can turn a wrench and can read & follow instructions can install that kit in about 2 hrs.

Pictures of it coming off the delivery truck are mandantory or you will be banned from the Bobcat forum,:laughing::laughing:
