Bought a used Cat excavator with no manual

NHDAVE...that KW switch to me looks like it might be the master power switch (battery switch) for your grey market machine.. Most cats use a 2 pronged key for turning the main power off and on...being as u say that is a grey market machine..mebbe that is is the master switch. the 2 markings (the line on the top and the 0 on the bottom are the same markings u see on a conventional master switch.. By the way..Milford is a nice town, done some work there..most recently we put in a new road, Boynton Hill road, up off I think Mason road (out past the armory), and rumor has it we are going back soon to add two more miles of road to Boynton Hill road..not to long a ride from my where i live (Loudon, NH)

I am sure this is old news to you now but my guess on the first switch is that it is the auto idle shutoff and the second switch is probably the reset for the main breaker in the event you trip it for whatever reason.Ron G
