I have been wanting to buy a compact tractor for several years, and I really spent a lot of time looking at them and reading about them the last two years. I guess it became an obsession for me. I spent hours every day looking on Craigslist, reading posts on TBN, and just about anywhere and everywhere on the Internet and off. I have hundreds of emails that I have received about inquiries I made on tractors. I found tractors that were in excellent shape with very low hours and a great price, but I never was able to pull the trigger. I even got a great price on a new tractor, but I never bought it. I know I could kick myself for some that I passed on. I guess I was looking for the tractor that was exactly what I wanted, but I came to the conclusion i might not ever find it. There was always something that troubled me about a particular model, and it talked me out of buying. I was pretty set on a Kubota, but I considered other models as well. There are a lot of good compacts made by different manufacturers.
Well, a week ago I finally succumbed. I bought a 2011 Kubota L3200, HST, R4 tires with Rim Guard, FEL, quick attach bucket, forklift attachment, and 40 hrs. I have read all the pros and cons, considered L series vs B series, more or less HP, kind of tires, etc. It's a Kubota and I'm pleased.
I want to thank all of you who have posted or replied on TBN. You have helped me along the way to making a decision. TBN is a wonderful website.
