Thanks Jeff (+ Alana).

It's very exciting. I still love my wife more, but not that much more.....(oops)

Got 2 hours on it so far, it's a super easy to use unit. I will enjoy it to be sure.

:D

Be sure that the dealer gives you the three point stuff if it's being delivered with a BH. When I bought the (used) DK45 Cab with the loader and backhoe the PO had forgotten this crucial equipment. I had to buy all the official Kioti three point hardware for almost 1500 bucks from a dealer...full retail, no break.
Also be sure to get the owner's manual and if he's got it the parts/repair/owner's manuals for the tractor, loader and backhoe. These are gold when it comes time to sell it.
Granted the manuals are written in "chinese restaurant" English, but they're good with illustrations.

Congratulations Jimmy, The Ck30 is a great tractor. If you plan on doing alot of loader work in hard pack id recommend a tooth bar for your loader. Also get yourself a suicide knob for your steering wheel from tractor supply, they are very handy and really help manuver the tractor in tight spaces.. Enjoy your new toy and be safe.

3PH parts stay on even with backhoe mounted on the CK's.

Yes on the 3ph stuff - it is all there. That was one of the features I like about this vs the L3400 'bota.

I have not yet put a spinner knob on yet (got a couple in the shop from my older 2wd non-powersteering tractors) but I LOVE the steering as it is and don't know if I will have to honestly.

I have to say that even with only a few hours on the beast I am SO HAPPY about how it works. I am really getting the hang of it very fast and man o man does it do what I want easy as can be. This thing is a dream. (Can you tell I'm happy with the purchase!).

This weekend I will be moving some (light weight) round bales. I'll let you know how it goes. Also getting an air-powered grease gun tonight as per the earlier post there a zillion grease points.

Safety wise, one important lesson so far. Keep a mental checklist for mounting and dismounting. On the old tractors I never had pedal HST or a seat belt, or a gear shifter or FEL control on top. The other day I got on and off it in gear with the FEL up a few times and then once hit the FEL control and dropped the loader down and another time stepped on the HST pedal while mounting. Dumb dumb dumb. Now I have a mental list - neutral, loader down, parking brake on, rpms down, seat belt off (you get the idea) every single time that I mount or dismount.

My face hurts from smiling tho...

JimmyJ, in your haste, or make that frenzy to update your signature, you put two loaders on your machine, and one loader's model number looks a lot like a BH's model number.

You go Jimmy you go.

Whoops! Fixed now. Thanks JoelD.

BTW, learned a lot from your posts about the power being out.

Great Signature JimmyJ, you and Deputy have something in common, he's got big four legged animals living at his place to. Ckicklet, what a great name.

Glad the power came back relatively quickly, my neighbor, literally next house over and the remainder of the street were out for 8 days, man that's a long time.

Have a great holiday.

Joel

Nice going Jimmy! You got what the right machine was for you and I am confident that you've made a great decision going with Lakeridge.

I haven't seen a dealer of any brand around our area here that is as good as Dick. I hope he does real well.

Boy am I ever jealous of that BH as well! You were right to get it right from the start.

OK fellers. Come March I am going to buy a trailer and I wonder what size you have used for your tractors.

With the hoe on, the total lenght is just about 19 feet and the rear wheels are about 64" wide. So, do I go with a 20' or could I get by with a shorter trailer and turn the hoe sideways?

I am trying to be selfish and buy a utility landscaper type trailer instead of a car hauler or equipment float. There are 16 and 18 foot utilities that have enough capacity, 2 foot high sides and brakes on one axle for about $3500 that really appeal to me. One of my issues is that I have a 1/2 ton pickup with 8500lb tow capacity.

Any advice?
