She doesnt and wont get a ROPS for awhile. Dont do anything that really requires it, my property is totaly flat, no FEL or back hoe and only chores and tiller work in the garden. I do not see a need for a ROPS on this tractor with those uses. With no hills or off camber positions to be working in, she isnt gonna flip over. I know Kubota wants 600ish for a ROPS kit. Many other things to buy before that. No preaching please on this. I am aware of the dangers, just like anyother large older farm tractor that lacks one, just know yours and the tractors limits and use some bloody common sense, something that many folks seem to lack these days. On a lighter note, I did get the tractor home today. Runs well, needs new glow plugs, muffler welded and a few cosmetic improvements. Gonna take her to work tomorrow and start on her in my spare time. On the
B6000, I dont have my books for it handy anymore, get yourself the book on it, if its like the one I had, it has all the part numbers in the back, and you can cross reference them with other models on the tractorsmart parts website. Kubota did import the
B6000 and it and the grey model share parts, so you CAN get parts for that one if your dealer knows his stuff. With the advant of the internet, even owing a grey kubota, one can find and get parts, just takes some research on the part number cross overs. That goes for any grey market model. I miss my little
B6000, but not the backwards pto limitation. I like my tripple cylinder machines a bit better, smoother. Cheers Mike and Michele T
