Kioti CK-3510SE
With the resent flooding in the U.P. I ended up getting the CK3510SE. I think I got a pretty good deal on it with the rake and boxblade thrown in. We had lots of help this weekend and were able to put the SE to the test. Whether using the box blade to scrape the ditches or the bucket to move mud and dirt, so far the tractor has exceeded my expectations. I want to ask if anyone doesnt know about the devastation caused by the flooding in the Houghton/Hancock/Hubbell areas in the U.P. please take a minute to do so. If your further inclined please consider donating to some of the foundations for those in need, or even better call the volunteer center and see where you can help out. If you have any questions let me know and thank you.

Bowhunter1527, are you willing to share what you paid for your CK3510SE and each attachment? Were you quoted a KB2475L backhoe at all? I am throwing out this model as an option for a poster over on the general price forum but it's hard to find any prices being advertised online so it would be awesome if you could provide info.

Your call whether to share that info - either way - congrats on your purchase and looks like it will get a workout up there. My dad lives in Grand Rapids and they have been getting very little rain but here in PA we just got hammered with rain last week like you. I had 4" laying in my back yard in low spots when it was over and I'm higher up.

Assuming he bought the tractor at the local dealer, same one I use, they quoted a backhoe attachment list price of $8500 to me a couple of weeks ago, and thought they could knock off $1k without me negotiating.

I suspect they would go lower for a good customer.

I didn’t pursue it. Bought a Mini ex instead.

Nice set up...but boy..is that a lot of trailer behind a F150...

I think I recognize that silver F150 as the dealers personal truck. They have Ford Super Duties and an enclosed trailer they normally deliver tractors with, but when storm damage reaches disaster stage, you do what you have to do to get the recovery under way

Maybe you can answer a question for me.....and it's a dumb one too....how the **** do you fold the rops down? I hadn't had the need to fold them yet, and when I tried to this weekend, I can't figure it out. Pull the pins out, but it doesn't fold down....the inside sleeve that holds the pins, hits on the bottom when you try to fold it...so it only moves like an inch and a half. I feel like I'm missing something totally obvious.

I even checked the manual...but it shows pictures that are different than mine.

Post a pic would help - yours probably different than mine.....but mine has 2 pair of gr8 shoulder bolts with Nylock nuts. Removing the upper pair is what allows mine to fold.

Not great, but best pictures I have of mine. The redhead pins - those are in place of the pair of shoulder bolts that need removed to fold mine. I have to fold mine to park it, so needed something better than removing nuts and shoulder bolts every time.
