Looks like you pickup a good baler. I have just seen one that looked better than that in the last 2 or three years. Most of the model 12s and the 124 around here are worn completely out. About two years ago, I went to a farm sale that was several miles out on a very rough dirt road and it was about a 100 degrees an real high humid. There wasn't many that showed up. The guy was selling a 124 baler that looked like it had a new paint job on it. I finely got around to looking it over and I couldn't believe that it was the original paint but it was. The paint wasn't even worn through in the bale chamber. The guys brother said that they baled a couple of fields and parted it in the barn. That was back in 1978. I never did find out the rest of the story. It went for the same price that you paid if I remember right. He had a really nice PTO rake with the two little crazy wheels that I missed bidding on because I was looking at something else that was for sale. I have kicked myself ever since.
