Are you using your ratchet rake for ballast or is that where you store it? Mine stays on the bucket about 90% of the timeKubota L4330, a ~40 hp class tractor with +1150 lbs of LMC HD BB, railroad rail and 510 lb weight block:

530 lbs on a 45 hp tractor? Probably won't even notice it.
No I haven't. What would be the advantages of this? My knowledge of anything like this is limited as I never owned a tractor before.
Thank you

My neighbor has been doing my driveway for me. He has a very old 2wd tractor with a old box blade that is not adjustable. A few passes and my road looks as good as new![]()
Dont underestimate those old Ford 8n. Think about what it took to farm with them. Then I'd buy a BB as close to his in weight, size and design as possible.![]()
How often does your neighbor need to do this?
After looking more, I see it has no provision to change the side to side angle either.I would not try no way to lift the box
Looks like it for an atv
Just remove the angle iron and put on a hydraulic cylinder:I would not try no way to lift the box
