Need opinions on whether a 2015 HST is suitable for operating a 5' box blade or should I choose the 4'. I'll be using the blade for medium landscaping chores. Thanks.

I run a 5 footer on my 2015 gear. The 4 footer won't clear the width of the tires, if you have r-4s. It handles it just fine.

I too run a 5-footer on my 2015 4WD (gear). I have no problem pulling a full box of gravel up a steep driveway. I just used it, and the front end loader, to pull about 4 to 5 inches of top soil off about a 60 x 90 foot area that will become a garden area. It was loaded with roots and rocks, and will eventually be put back. I don't think you would be at all disappointed with a 5-foot box blade on the 2015.

I should add that I have loaded tires. I believe that helps alot. Also, when pulling a full box blade, sometimes I'll scoop up a bucket full of dirt for weight on the front. Seems to make a considerable difference.

A standard duty 5' works fine, but you also have the option with some brands to go 54", just in case you are trying to keep things a little narrower.
