The landscapers grading around new houses in Southern California had Earthcavators on their 8N tractors back in the early '50s. I think Woods literature said 1948?

So I was right, they were building them in the 60s. They had started earlier is all. My parents have an Earthcavator, got it back in 67-68. Mine are newer than that. My 81" roll-over was the biggest that Gannon would build back in 2005.

I'm really sorry that Woods has discontinued them. I will be trying to find a used one in decent shape next spring.
