Box Blade on wheels?

It's called a speed mover and a few other names that I know of. This unit is 4' wide. I found a place that sells them. Now instead of the box blade wooptdooes this speed mover can level faster & easyer than the BB. A 3 x 8" HYD clyinder does all the work.
Is this of any interest to you guys?

Thes are built in 4'-5' & 6' wide for compact tractors.

I have also heard them called dirt scapers or dirt pans. Used around here frequently in feedlots to remove manure. Most of the ones I've seen have been about 10' wide.

I've never seen the little ones like that, but have a neighbor who has an 11' one. Don't know what brand it is, but it looks like an ordinary box blade with the hydraulically raised/lowered two wheels. Of course, you can pick the wheels completely up off the ground to get its full weight digging in, or you can lower the wheels and pick the blade up high enough to drive down the road with it. He and I did the parking lot for the volunteer fire department. I did the final smoothing in the tight places with my little Kubota and he did the rest with that thing behind a big Deere./w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

The size of it appealed to me, since i have been thinking about building one out of a box blade. I built one of a lawn mower a few years ago, it was 42" wide and worked great with ag tires and calcium. I traded a JD 318 in on a compact tractor. I let my dad use it behind the ATV on the farm. If you have never worked one you would give up your box blade (except in corners). You can get a table top effect, flat and smooth.
