box blade prices and question

Scott,

Just got my First Choice (BB3072) 72" Box Blade Yesterday. I haven't even put it together yet!

This is a very well built unit and I don't think I would be able to break it if I tried to!

I also bought mine (sight unseen) based on the comments I have gotten here at TBN and after talking with Pieter, it was a done deal.

I have been very pleased with the way First Choice has handled their business with me and I know I will buy First Choice again.

Hope this helps,

I got my Orange BB20-60 last Friday. It took me longer to ease it gently out of my truck bed than it did to put together.
I only live about 15 miles from where they are made, and the dealer is in the same town as Jim is. The dealer is able to pick up his orders at the plant. I still opted (for $25 savings) to assemble it myself.

The only problem I had was one of the scarifers had to be driven out with a rubber mallet, and it still is tight in whichever slot I place it in. I don't have a way of accurately measuring the thickness of the scarifier, but my eyeball says it is slightly thicker. Of course, that depends on which pair of glasses I'm wearing.

Happy with this purchase.

BNixon,
Would you mind sharing what you paid for your FC 3072? I'm pretty sure that is the model I would get if I bought one from them. There aren't any dealers close by selling FC so I would probably have to get it through Carver's or somebody.

Thanks.

bcoleman,

I was originaly going to go with the 84" but they were out of the Blue ones and it would be a couple of weeks to get one in. After about a week of waiting and thinking about how I was going to get it on my trailer (only 83" wide) I changed the order to a 72". I suspect you could pick one up for around $1100-$1200.

Scott,

Don't go by the "full retail" prices you have! I bought a Gannon H-120 (same as the H115, but low back) for 1400.00. It is a heck of a unit. But if you don't need the beef, the lower buck units may be fine.
