Tractor Sizing Box Blade Size for 7304

Hi All,

Appreciate the input. Will be going with the 5' box blade.

Still thinking on the loading of the tires but will probably wait and see if the box blade adds enought weight for my needs.

Hadn't considered the RV antifreeze but a good thought.

Searched and found and interesting thread on Ballasting tires which had a whole whack on information that was helpful. Dowloaded the Goodyear PDF and looks like CC would add about 100#'s per wheel for my sized tires.

Will see how it goes.

How did you attach an ATV blade to your loader. That sounds real interesting ?

Need a back blade too but curious about your setup. Would love to push snow around blade on the front without tossing a ton of money at it.

The bottom of your bucket is the under side of the ATV. Just bolt the ATV mount plate to the under side of the bucket and hook up. Basically that's all you have to do. However you may want to shorten the push tubes and you may want to slug them for strength. You also might want to devise a slip coupling/bracket to slide over the lip of the loader. Maybe a couple of brackets on each side of the tubes that would allow float would be nice too. None of this is necessary but did work well for me. I have about $150 (used blade) in mine including mods. However my blade is too small (50") and needs extended. Summer project. I am going to go for 6'. With your tractor 6' should be no problem. I'll try to post a pic of the mount setup in the next few days.
