Hi Guys, new to the forum and new to tractors in general.
I was able to pick up a Kubota B2100 with FEL for a very good price - so I find myself learning on the fly. 21HP and weight in the neighborhood of 1700lbs I believe... no weighted tires yet (agri. tires FYI)
The rear tires are 42" wide, and looking for a box blade as both an all around good implement and ballast to boot.
It seems a 48" is in my best interest, but I see many more used available if I step up to 60". There is one in particular right near by, King Kutter with the hinged back, and the guy is asking $500.
So, should I hold out for a 48" or jump on the 60" and just take smaller bites?
The weight of the BB doesn't look like the concern - but rather the weight of the accumulated dirt in a full box... right?
My intended uses are homeowner like - grading some parts of my yard, levelling, backfilling... won't see too much abuse.
