Tractor
Kubota B7510
I own a Kubota B7510 Diesel 4x4 tractor. I need a box blade for use around my property. Any suggestions as to the recommended width and weight given my size tractor?

I have had a 7510 for 5 years now. Most of my implements are only 4' wide. I kept them to 4' for maneuverability. Last year I purchased probably the most useful tool other than the FEL. That being a 5' wide Armstrong Ag Land Plane.

Everything Attachments has them pictured on their web site as well as a video of one in use. If you want your finished project to be level use a land plane. If you want to move dirt from one place to another use a box blade or FEL if you have one.

BTW I have an 800 lb aerator that the 7510 will lift, but just barely. I would say the weight on the blade should be around 400 lbs, not more.

4' wide, 400-500lbs. Much lighter than that and it won't be very effective at anything but light work.

I have a 5' box blade that weighs about 450lbs that I use on my B3200. Tried it on the B7610 that my mother has and it worked ok, but you couldn't pull a full load of dirt well with the scarifiers down. I think 4' wide would be ideal.

I have a B2320 with a LP BB1548 great bb really heavy duty. The bb weight is 435 lbs. I have unloaded tires in the rear and I will slip traction from time to time. When I know Im going to be doing a lot of heavy work I fill the FEL with a scoop of #67 gravel out of my pile. this gives me a lot more pulling power in 4wd.

Well I guess I would be needing to level out dirt so maybe the land plane would be better? I have the front end loader with a bucket on it but no other dirt moving attachements.
