I worked fine for me at my parents house, the disc I had would not dig in enough in as short a pass as I had to make. So I used the BB it did a decent job

Sorry Rad, but experience trumps opinion in this case. I have draft control on both tractors, and use it regularly with both BB and rake. When they start to dig too aggressively, or catch on a root/slab/cable/whatever, draft control absolutely positively pulls both implements back up to the preset working depth - untouched by human hands. If you know what you're doing when you set the draft control lever, no turning around in the tractor seat is required eitherRaddad said:You don't need draft control to limit the depth of an implement..
