A boxblade IMO is better for what you ask here.
I don't have a rear blade so I've had to get pretty good using my boxblade. I have done all kinds of things with it and it is a versatile tool.

I have the Case DX25E, which is a cousin to your TZ25. I bought a 4' BB to go with mine and don't think I would want to try anything bigger. Especially if you try to drop the teeth into the ground very deep. I have found it to be a great tool, though, and did a pretty fair job of leveling out some ground when I first got it. I also found that backdragging with the loader can be good in tight spaces.

One recommendation, though... you might have a real challenge on your hands trying to pull the BB with turf tires. I got the R1 tires on mine and because of the weight of the tractor and soil composition here, they don't tear up the yard bad at all...

Yep, the thread was started in April and I'm sure the original poster is long gone - however I had a question and didn't want to repeat an old discussion. I just did that on another thread accidentally, so I'm trying to learn from my rookie mistake!

Thanks for the info though. I think I will go the extra money for the BB, it seems like a good enough investment for me.
