Box Scraper Problem

The knob to which you refer is only for the drop speed, not raising.
If you had the backhoe on before, if you're using remotes, make sure the remote a/b switch is in the proper postion. Maybe it's halfway engaged.

If you don't have the rear remote and are using the power beyond, make sure you get in that awful position that it takes to turn that lever to the right position if you had been using the backhoe and then switched to the boxblade.

No problem. I think more people think it's for both than know it's only for drop. It simply restricts the return of the flow to the reservoir keeping the hitch from dropping at all, or too quickly if desired.

It's so helpful because without it, one would have to slowly move the lever if a slow descension were desired. That could take up a lot of time. Also turning the know off completely can keep a dropping hitch in place instead of having a drift.

Dirtcutter,
I know that I sound like a broken record, but most hydraulic problems like this are normally connector problems. Check all of your quick connectors. They may look connected and not be. Disconnect them and then reconnect. That normally solves the problem.
