Thanks, but can't take the credit on the idea. I saw where a guy in California was making them, and selling for $400.00, so thought I'd try and make one. I've got like 12 hours in making this... About 4 hours was just cleaning them up. The hardest part was making the eye's.

I've since discovered cleaning items by electrolysis, using a battery charger. And may even speed the process up more by using my small DC welder, and cranking up the amps. Will wait for spring for that, because the process produces hydrogen gas. A no-no in a closed shop with a coal stove. Think Hindenberg...

The great thing is..., about 75 cents worth of coal to make it...

It ain't fancy but it works..!! I've completely melted down shoes trying to work several at a time, so just do one a a time now.

The little whiney shop vac got on my nanny, so upgraded to a 140 CFM sq. cage blower... Sooo much quiter..!!

The frame is at - Quality Powder Coating for beautification. It is in the hand of their artists. What I suggested was an orange or red frame. Then the flames blend to a yellow that blend into white tips. They were talking about borrowing the frame for trade shows. We might have to do some trading.

The second picture is of a 3" 11 gauge steel post Quality has made look like Walnut. It's part of a fence job I'm doing.

If it were me, the first time I got some $$ for loaning or selling it I would show the cash to her and ask how silly it is now?

After she reluctantly agrees and calms down I'd give her the cash.

The good will will likley sustain you and several more pieces of equipment.

Well..., mine's pretty well copycat work, whereas wroughtn-harv's work is built from his own vision. I've built as lot of things for work type applications to ease some laborous items around my little horse farm, that have come from a lot of thought. But then I grew up, learning from Dad making stuff to make things easier on one's self, if possible.

Now the posts he made, and artist coated to look like wood.... THAT is awesome..!!
