bracket, pivot, or whatsis

I don't know the terminology, but I wonder if there's a source for a manufactured bracket to hold the pin on which a hydraulic cyliner end pivots. I prefer weld-on type brackets, drilled for the pin, probably 1" or 1.25". I can make these up but it feels like re-inventing the wheel.
In other words, I want to fab up a dump piston to a trailer, and need a bracket at each end to pin the cylinder to. Any help appreciated.

Hello Jim,

Hercules Sealing Products. You want their cylinder parts catalog. If you have a tax # look uo Bailey Hydraulic Cylinders Manufacturer. They're pretty good too. I have bought and welded the cylinder ends you need from Hercules. They have good quality stuff.

Andy, thanks for the links. What are the brackets called? I know there must be one that is a single tab with bore hole for the pin, either with a backing plate to weld on, or without. Not sure how to find the parts in Hercules site.

Jim,
They are generally called base ends, but depending on it's exact configuration, they can be called any number of things. Try this link. www.herculesus.com/proimages/Pieceparts.pdf. They start on page 36 and go up to p 47. Lots of good stuff for the fabricator, you will probably want to download the whole catalog. Enjoy

Thanks, Andy. I've been away a couple days. These look like the right parts. Do they sell to consumers, or shops only? Haven't figured out what exactly I want yet but getting there.

To tell you the truth, I don't know. I know that Baileys only sells to you if you have a tax number. I don't know about Hercules. If Hercules won't sell to you, give me the part #'s you want and your address. I'll have it drop shipped to you. You can mail me a check.
