Brake Pedal Glue

Gorilla glue is good stuff. The weatherstrip adhesive is good stuff. Another tough glue that'll hold about anything is good ol' Liquid Nails. Just try to get that stuff OFF of anything you accidentally get it on.

In 1982, while I was still racing dirt bikes in my spare time, I bought my very first water cooled 2-stroke bike, a CR250 Honda. Not long after I bought it, I crashed a radiator into a rock. (I hit the ground a LOT) I punched a hole in the radiator just before leaving for a race. Since the water cooled Hondas were so new, a replacement radiator was not to be had for a few days. I couldn't wait, so I put a big glob of Liquid Nails all over the damaged area and let it dry overnight. 2 days later, I rode a 2 hour long National Hare Scrambles event with not the first sign of a leak. It held so well I never replaced the radiator. After the season ended, I sold the bike to a friend who STILL has it. The patched up radiator is STILL on the bike.

I often tought the Liquid Nails folks should have featured me in an add campaign! ;)

Gorilla snot! :D Yea, that'll work. If you think you'll get messy with it, it also comes in black. Look for it in your local auto parts store. Comes in a tube (like toothpaste).

3m weather strip adhesive is contact cement, it is made specifically for this purpose, and is the best thing to use for bonding rubber to metal.

It is one of the greatest general purpose adhesives for many things and it makes me look good on the job a least a couple of times a week...
That is the best stuff I've ever found for pedal pads and also for knobs.

Sikaflex is a polyurethane caulk and will stick anything to anything. It's found in the masonry section of Home Depot. The PL brand stuff works well too and is in the caulk section of HD.
