I have noticed that the left brake pedal on my 1500D wants to stick sometimes. I have to pull the pedal back up with my foot. If I lock the brake pedals togethor they both return to the normal position without help. Is this indicative of a problem with a return spring on the left side brakes? The brakes seem to work just fine otherwise.

Most of the time it isn't just the return spring, but that isn't bad. The shaft that goes through the brake cover will sometimes bind and cause the symptoms you are describing. Take some WD40 and squirt around that shaft and then try working the brakes. If that doesn't free it up then take the brake cover off and check the spring. If the spring is good then I would completely remove that shaft that goes through the cover and give it a good polish with and emory clothe.

Thanks Brent. I'll give that a try and see what happens.
