Went to plow the driveway the other day and my 233hst would not start. Cycled the glowplugs and turned switch to start and nothing. Looked under tractor at the brake switch and found it had come apart. Managed to wiggle the switch enough to get tractor started. Stopped by my dealer today and picked up a new switch. It's the same junk plastic switch that failed after 3 years. Paid just over $40.00 for the darn thing. I am going to to take the old switch wire harness and wire it so when the new switch fails I can at least start the tractor.

The cost and reliability really sucks, I feel for ya folks.
I would say change it out with a more waterproof/reliable one or hate to say it put a bypass switch in-line to open or close that circuit to allow it to start. Make sure you don't have brake off and crank the starter, especially without the seatbelt fastened--good way to get bucked off!

Same here. Just this morning It wouldn't start and I found the switch dangling under the tractor with the end broken off. My dealer gave two so I would have a spare.
