Brand New 1723 popping out of float mode

As mentioned by irvingj, I keep my hand on the joystick to keep it in float and use my left hand to steer. Helps that I am left handed, I do the same thing driving, left hand on wheel and right on shifter (WRX is manual but do the same on wife's auto tranny).

In the summer with the loader removed I keep my hand on the joystick while mowing. It feels odd not holding it after a while.

In a followup to my last post, I was plowing snow this morning and tested the float function. It would stay in float without holding the joystick.
I have the 1723e with FL1805 loader.

I had the same problem on my 1723e for the first couple of hours. No repeat of the issue of popping out of float for over a month now. Machine has 11 hours on it now. Popping out of float was exclusively with the 2360 snowblower, never had it happen using the FL1805 loader.

I’ll say mine pops out occasionally. I think the blower exerts differently on the float mechanism then the loader does.
