Buying Advice Brand new Kioti CK27 or 2008 Kubota B3030 with Cab

I can't see a tractor without a loader selling fast. I would take my time and if it sells then so be it. I would look into aftermarket loaders, I know Woods makes loaders that will fit on the B3030. My best advice would be to wait a week or two and make an offer on the B3030 (if you like it). By then if the owner hasn't got much interest you could get it for a better price.

I used to own a B3030 HSDCC (cold weather model cab). Heat worked fantastic and so did the A/C. You just have to decide whether having the cab is worth the trade off for loader capacity.
If you don't do a lot of heavy lifting but do a lot of work in extreme temperatures hot or cold, you have your answer. If you live in milder climates you might opt for the higher loader capacity and warranty of the Kioti. Only you can make that call.

I've been working with my local Kioti dealer on a new floor model CK27 HST with FEL for just over 13,000. Would have 5 year warranty.
Today's Craigslist turned up a Kubota B3030 HSDC cab model without a FEL for 11,800. I would really like a cab to stay out of the sun here during the summer, hadn't been shopping one due to price. No warranty of course. 2008 with just under 800 hours.

I need a FEL so that would have to be added for what, 5 or 6 grand? And it is really wimpy, the LA403 is only 783 lbs to full height. The CK27 is better by about 350 lbs at 1,155.

You are not comparing both loaders equally, you are using the LA403's weight rating 19.7 inches forward of the pivot pin against Kioti's KL130's pivot pin rating. Using the pivot pin rating of both loaders, LA403 at 1091 and the KL130 at 1155, there is only a delta of 64 pounds.

There is nothing better than a cab when the weather turns nasty and you have to be out in it. If you are wanting a cab, buy one, you wont regret it but you will regret forever not getting one. As for the Kubota, only you can determine if you want to go the used vs new route. Cabs will run at least $5 grand so you are going to be out about the same amount of cash buying an FEL as purchasing a tractor with a cab. DONT try to aftermarket a cab as they cost much more than factory and aren't nearly as well built.

By the way, 800 hours isn't much on a tractor and likely as not any bugs in the tractor have been fixed so a few hours is a good thing. Warranty doesn't cover transport cost and down time on your tractor. If $11K is Craigslist price you can get it for less. Most everyone will list things higher on Craigslist than their really firm pricing. Go check it out, drive it and dicker on the price. Not having an FEL is a good bargaining point for reducing the price a bit.

i just priced out a new ck 27 here all over indiana and could not come any where near the price you r geting.. even on brand new old stock! i wound up buying a ct225 bobcat. had to drive over 3 hours to get it (its a kioti ck 27 painted white with one less hp not sure why the hp diff. and different loader) they r geting hard to find now that bobcat is nolonger in tractor market. even still paid much more thanwhat your quoted any way it is the best thing since sliced bread. i bought a cab for it that is made by custom products it is who made the OEM cab for bobcat it is very nice..all steel modular design very easy to install. i was not sure i wanted a cab but so far this winter i am very glad i bought it..check out it out Custom Products of Litchfield there r nice pics there shown on the ck27. i would jump at that ck 27 if i were u if it is the right size tractor for your needs i love mine its just the right size for me. also. it looks B. A. with the cab.

From my experience with a B3030 they can feel a bit tipsy, other than that they are a great machine. I don't have any experience on the Kioti.

i dont know what they cost retail. i found mine used. it is very nice quality though. if i had to guess i sould say about 4,000 depending on options. i contacted the factory and they donot sell direct so you would have to find a distributer. bobcat should be able to set you up and shiping comes straight from manufacturer to you direct. at least thats what factory said. i think they areloacted in minnesota.its heavy duty, no insulation though except for ceiling. this is my first cab i have ever owned i was surprised at the sound, louder than i thought but very worth it. just had to add some foam under and around dash and surprisingly warm even with a very small 12 volt heater that i bought at the truck stop for 25 bucks, and the doors come off for summer use im debating on a wiper and a set of mirrors
