You might want to add some weight to the 3 pt for loader work because they get very light in the butt end. And it is easy to dump the weight when not needed.

No, I didn't load the tires. I've got another heavier Kubota with loaded tires and thought best to keep this 'bota on the light side since I might mow some of the yard with the cutter.

Good decision going with the L40 series. I'm surprised you were able to find one. The L3940 here has almost 800hrs. and it's been great, a real workhorse.

Nice clean tractor. :thumbsup: When I got my L3800 they did not offer me Loaded tires so I thought I didn't need it. Started moving some dirt down the driveway and noticed rear wheel slippage. Of course an implement on the 3 pt. helps a lot but, sometimes I just want to move gravel or dig dirt and not have a backblade bouncing around. 320 hours on tractor and happy with the beet juice. I mow a lot too.
