Brands please

Something that would be helpful to many of us is to include the BRAND of the of the tractor or equipment that is being referenced. Many just post a model number and think everyone will know what model number belongs to what tractor. I know many of the brands, but sometime someone just puts a model number in the post and I have to try to find out which brand they are posting about.

I never really thought about it because, when I refer to my 4105 or D110 in a post, you only have to glance to the 'left' to confirm the brand is a JD.

You're not suggesting that I spell out "John Deere"?

I never understood why there are general sections where questions can be posted about any brand & then brand specific sections. It makes searching for information difficult.

I take the position if I don't know the model given then it is an off brand to ME. Normally just pass that thread. Not meaning it is not a top notch brand, just one I don't know. Totally agree have wondered many times what brand is being asked about. And to me LS, NH, JD, MF is enough to know the brand.
