Branson 2400

My Branson 2400 will not start. It has a new battery. I know you have to have the everything in neutral and depress the clutch completly. It started ok one day but I shut it off and it would not restart. Out of frustration I began stomping on the clutch and literally after 21 attempts it started. I drove it back to the garage and shut it off. Now it will Not start. I tried messing with the clutch position ajustment but no luck. I read where it has a clutch safety switch but I don't know anything about it. This is my first tractor and not a very good mechanic. Can someone please help me

Safety switch is located on the left side kind of in behind the clutch lever. This switch failed on mine due to water ingression. Branson has newer designed switch that is supposed to eliminate this problem. Unplug the connector to the switch and make a jumper wire to determine if the switch is bad. Similar switch is also on the HST pedals(if HST) and PTO lever. Make sure all of the functions are in their home position.
