I am trying to help my father with a small starting problem he has been having with his Branson 2910 Tractor, some background information is:
He and my brother in law have replaced the clutch twice. several fuses have been replaced, no obvious wires cut or un plugged.
The main problem is hard starting during cold temperatures, I checked for the glow plug light on the dash, did a continuity test on all fuses to verify they are serviceable. Check and verified connections to the glow plug controller, to the relay and to the glow plug bar. I have no voltage going from the relay to the glow plug bar. I replaced the relay with two known good ones, I verified constant volage to the relay, temporary voltage with the key on the ON position while the light is on and ground.
All points to me as a bad relay but I cannot find a troubleshooting guide or steps anywhere on line. I have the Chassy and owners manual and neither have any specific information other than a schematic for the system.
I have read through the threads, but do not see any pertinent info
