Looking to buy a 3510 with loader. Will this tractor handle the front mounted root rake? I did not know they made one for a small tractor until today and was impressed.
What price should one pay for tractor, loader, root rake?
Any problems; I have read about the tranny problems but don't think this is major, what do y'all think?
Thanks to all who answered my P.M.'s, and for the help I hope to get.
15 acres planted pines to mow and keep clean, also will be mowing ditches 2 to 3 acres of grass.
Tractor will be new 4x4.
A little backwards, sorry....

Thanks tnaz

tnaz,
Have you purchased a 3510 yet? If so, how do you like it?
What did it set you back? I also live in G'ville and interested in a 3510. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Which dealer did you use? I would just like to have some idea before I go knocking on a dealer's door.

Have not bought yet; I think I'am very close, I have spoken to half the dealers in the U.S.A. I have looked at J.D., N.H.,
Mahindra, Kubota,Kioti and Branson. I have not gotten the responce from my post I had hoped for, but I guess everyone is as besy as I am; but I do thank those that answered my P.M.'s or that P.M. me...Look for P.M. on your end.

tnaz,
I have the Branson 2810 with the FEL and really love it. I paid $13,500 for mine 2 years ago. It is very durable and a great machine. The loader is really strong and reliable.

Big Lug, thanks for the info.

Kinda thinking about moving up to the 3820 or the 4220. I may expand my use of the tractor.

Thanks again for all info, tnaz

I don't know how the model #s match up between branson & century, but I just bought a centry 2535. Keep in mind I've only had it about a month & it's the only tractor I've ever used. I went from a Gravely walkbehind to the Century, so I'm glad to be able to sit down. All I have now is the fel, but I really like it so far. Just wish I had more attachmnts. I paid 15,880 after taxes with the fel & ag tires loaded in the rear. I bought a 2004. the last one he had. He had 2005's. exact same thing in 2005 was $1200 more he said because of steel prices, so it might help to find last years model. I don't even know what a root rake is so won't address that. Without the fel, the tractor was going to be 11,800. Hope this helps you somewhat.

I talked to Lazenbys about a 3510 and they were firm on their price a couple weeks ago. I had cash in my pocket and my trailer with me, they didn't want to budge.
I went to Baldwin Equipment Sales in Palatka Fl last Saturday and he wanted the sale. He didn't have a 3510 without FEL so he ordered one for me. The price increase took effect last monday so he got the order in ahead of it for me, it should be in on Wednesday. I am dealing with the owner Charles and he is great to work with. All I have is the Branson pamplet with pictures and it's getting wet with drool, I hate waiting! But at least I felt appreciated as a customer. I'm a Honda Engine Dealer and a Stone Equipment Dealer and I know there is always wiggle room in a dealers prices and cash sales are less painfull than financing or credit sales.
I've looked the Branson's over very well and I like what I see. The quality and features are there. I think I will be happy with mine. tim
