Branson 4020 Fuel shut off on solenoid pull in

Does this 2 coil solenoid have a relay between ignition switch & solenoid? Does the 70 amp relay on left side of firewall under dash control any part of the fuel solenoid function?
What is the function of the rectangular electrical box mounted on right side of firewall under dash? My fuel electrically solenoid pulls in ~25% of the time. It stays in once activated & shuts off normally. Ideas & suggestions welcome

Not knowing your equipment:

Some JD’s have a thermistor in the fuel pump circuit that does fail. Tractor cranks over but the injection pump is not activated.

On my Branson 3510, the shutoff solenoid’s rubber boot was shot. It limited the movement of the shutoff solenoid, the plunger was extending too far. I used a couple of zip ties to limit the extension after researching and finding the cost of a new solenoid $$$.

If you want a new solnoid get the spec's from the original and
search the net for a new one
