The 7845 is a beast. Don't be afraid of that one.
I test drove a 7845, and it was a nice Tractor, but according to the literature the 8050 comes in at 1,660 lbs. heavier than the 7845, and when you add the weight difference between the front end loaders, that number climbs to 2,365 lbs. And for my particular application, weight would certainly be to my advantage.
The 7845 stacks up well against the 75hp Case/NH offering in the weight department, but I am really looking for something with a cab that can accommodate an instructor seat, and I'm just not convinced that this is really an option with the 7845.
It's just a shame the 8050 didn't sell very well, in the world of utility tractors of this hp range, it sat alone at the top in several categories...
I am almost tempted to just grab one of the last ones I see that are still showing available throughout the Country, but long term parts and service concerns me, simply because of how few units it appears to have been sold.
This coupled with the fact that the Branson dealer whom I would have to rely on for service made it quite clear that they, because it has ended production, wouldn't have even brought one in for me had there been any available at the warehouse. They are not interested in supporting something that is not currently in production, which is a piss poor attitude to have if you ask me, and tells me I might just be better off taking my money elsewhere....
