I recently purchased a used F4350. This is a 43hp 4wd Branson that has the Yanmar 4 cylinder diesel (model number 4TNE88, no turbo). As far as I can tell, the rest of the tractor is similar to the new 20 series tractors. The 12f/12r shuttle shift transmission, draft control mechanism, layout of controls, etc. all look the same as the pictures I have seen on TBN. I received from Branson a complete parts book but the upper radiator hose number is not recognized by Branson parts. I am working through Dave’s Tractor with Rob (great people) but when Rob gives the number to Branson for the upper hose, they don’t recognize it.
Can someone tell me if Branson (Kukje) used the Yanmar engine in another model before they went strictly to the Kukje engine? Did the Branson 4520 use it? This has been a little like detective work figuring out where this early model tractor fits into the picture. It was purchased new in 2000 from a dealer in Texas that no longer sells Branson.
A side note, it looks like the same engine was used in the John Deere 4710 but I don’t know if the engine package purchased from Yanmar included the water pump/hose/radiator combo or not so I don’t know if the JD hose would work. No JD parts place locally has one in stock to look at so that doesn’t help, either.
Any help would be great. If a 4520 owner could provide a part number for the upper radiator hose, that would be great also.
Thanks.
