I've got a 2008 Branson 3510h. On the back side of the ROPS there is some sort of electrical power plug. It's got six contacts, 4 female and 2 male. Can anyone tell me what this is and what the various pins are for? I am wanting to build a 3 point hitch sprayer using a plastic 55 gallon drum and use this plug for power if that's possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Good luck. I had a Kioti LK3054 and it had a weird power plug on the back as well. I could never find a match for it?!?

Can you post a picture looking at the end of the connector?? Would like to see what style of connector they used on it.

It is like a trailer coupling. brake lights, tail lights, blinkers etc....
I cut the plug off mine and wired on an RV plug for hooking what ever
I am draging that needs power.

I asked my dealership about that plug when I purchased my 4820i. He said they use it at the factory while shuffling and manufacturing the units. He said we usually cut it off, but forgot. Because they were delivering it that afternoon I told them to just forget it, I'd do it later. It's useless as for as I know, but I've never traced it back, or cut it off to date.

Thanks for all the replys. The dealer told me it was for connecting implements that require electrical power. Since I'm not a farmer that made sense to me. Although some companies do wierd and wasteful things it seems an awful waste for something that is of no use to the customer. I will take a photo and post it as soon as I can. I'm going check with the dealer to see if I can get an electrical schematic.

Mine has the same plug. I always assumed that it was to supply power to an implement if necessary. I've not had cause to use it, but I could see where it might be handy fo some applications.

That plug in your picture would not fit the one I cut off my 3510i. The one that was on mine was rectangle...looked like something under the dash of your car or truck to plug a diagnostic thningy into. I was told it was a foreign version of an RV plug they use overseas. Sure nuff the wiring matched up with the blinkers, taillights, etc. My dealer said that in Korea they use tractors like we do cars & truck...the family vehicle. After converting mine to American style recpt. I plug my sprayer and several things into it that require power on the tail end.
