Buying Advice Branson Tractor is SURPRISING high quality!

I love the branson/tym units, they unfortunately only offer a 60inch deck in less than 25hp -

Im not a brand snob and I know there are smaller companies that build a lot of quality , and better quality things than some of the big names do, but... what worries me is longevity and parts availability from these companies. We at work deal with a lot of good construction equipment. Well, its good until it breaks and you are trying to get parts from overseas etc.
The mahindra , and Long I had were both good tractors. For the long it was hard to find anything other than normal wear and tear stuff, and what the mahindra needed that couldnt be found it would have been cheaper to go find another running tractor same model.
I hope you have good luck with yours and lasts you a very long time.

Rural King or Branson is TYM, just made in different factories and made in different styles.

TYM recently bought Branson......obviously for a reason........Branson is NOT TYM. When I bought my 2400 I went to a Branson/TYM dealer. A TYM 25 hp tractor was sitting next to the Branson 2400 I came to buy. While the sales guy was working on my paperwork, I moseyed over to the TYM and took it for a spin.........I left with the Branson I came to buy!

Same thing happened to me, although on two different dealers but for the Tym 353 and the Branson F36R (3515R). The differences are amazing. The Branson is so much more stout and well built than the Tym. The front axle is bigger than the Tym.

Branson and Tym are part of the same group, yet they run like separate companies.

I don't know much about the situation in the US, but over here in Europe, Branson seems to be quite active. I read somewhere they have a big parts warehouse in Germany. The Branson's business and marketing team keeps visiting dealers/shops not only in Portugal but also all over the Europe.

They even visited the dealer I bought the tractor, which is almost odd as it's a really small dealer ran by 3 people, the owner, one mechanic and one accountant. They come here to check is everything is made up to Branson's standards.

I would agree, the branson would be my choice over tym..........if you are on a budget I think the tym are a little less$ not a lot but a little - just wish they had a bigger MMM deck so that is why I had to go deere
