When I bought mine some said that it was the same tractor but with spacer blocks to widen it, larger tires, stronger, higher lift, deeper digging. I think the 3520 (35hp/ 20 frame) is a much larger machine. It progresses as you go larger, except that the loader reach for the 30 series is less. Check the website, it can tell you more accurately than I can. As for serial #'s, Im sure, but Im not sure about online. Cheers

I just called Branson with some questions, the person on the phone helped me and then sent me over to the tech department, spent about 30min answering my questions. No problems here?

Eric:

Give me a day or two to get the filter data to you - it's written inside my manual cover. Much of it came from Wallace and others - so I can't claim total ownership. I do have a 3510 so it should be the same for your machine.

If I remember correctly Branson still has a $1000 rebate of the 10 and 20 series tractors.

Eric:

These were my starting points (given by others here on the forum) - they cross to most major brands. We have a 3510.

Oil - WIX 51334 (have used WIX and Carquest - probably made by WIX)
Fuel - Baldwin PF981 (have not changed yet so cannot vouch for this one)
Air - Baldwin RS3703 (have not changed yet so cannot vouch for this one)
Hydraulic - Baldwin BT372-10/WIX 51202 (have used WIX and Carquest - probably made by WIX)

The WIX hydraulic seems to 'plug-up' at about 30 hours - the 3-point and the loader become jumpy, especially when cold. Change the filter and the problem corrects itself. I did buy Kukje filters this time - so I'll see if I make it 50 hours or not. Have heard rumors the Kukje filters have a bypass/larger bypass that opens when the pressure delta gets too big (filter plugs). I think I'd rather change filters more often than circulate trash.

Will,
my understanding from Brnson is that they do have a different spec on the bypass in their filters and I am in complete agreement with you on the "change more often rather than circulate gunk" philosophy!

Where do you get kukje filters?

Thanks for the part numbers!

Got the filters at the dealer. Had to trail the tractor over for the PS tank recall so I bought a set of filters and a new radiator drain valve at the same time. (Wiped the old drain valve off while clearing brush. It and the repaired grill will probably wait a few years to go back on - until the heavy clearing is done.)

Changed the air filter this weekend. Existing was marked as a Fleetguard AF25551. HiLo was able to cross this directly to a WIX.

Will,
how many hours did you have on that original air filter?

Erik:

155 hours when changed. Checked it 50 hours ago and it looked new. Have been doing a lot of dirt work in really sandy soil lately and noted the dark smoke on load change was lasting longer than usual. I was also getting dark smoke when heavily loaded. New filter = no more smoke. The tractor feels stronger too - though I think that's just my overactive imagination.

Brgds.
