Ptsg,

What is your opinion about your F36 Branson ?
Is it really compact ?

I am looking for a 45 HP tractor very compact so I am considering buying a F47Hn.
I like too the TYM T393 HST for its compacity but its PTO power is too low for my applications.

Thanks for your suggestions.

Nice pictures and an interesting thread.
If what I'm seeing is correct I'm not impressed with that cabs Heat AC ducting or lack of.
It looks like the roof panel is the ac and heat duct, summer that red is going to let the sun heat the AC and snow on the roof in the winter will be effective at reducing the heater efficiency.
The rear axles and rear reduction boxes look light to me also, and the 3 point lift arms aren't very stout.
Now that is just my perspective from looking at pictures maybe in person they don't look so light.

It will be interesting in the next few years.

Hi Lou,,

I was wondering what was exactly this red color in the roof vents.
If you are right the efficiency of heating (and cooling) will decrease for sure !

branson 15 and 20 series have an 8 lug rear wheel/transaxle. TYM only 6. one way to tell.

Thanks for the pictures!

Those tractors are definitely TYM tractors. I see nothing that could be related to Branson.

As you can see, the rear end is way lighter than any Branson tractor. PapeCat has a really good point about the lug studs.

Regarding the F series. I'm really happy with mine. It's not as compact as Same Solaris or Landini Mistral. It's a bit longer, but the width is the same. The main difference is that you have a platform instead of having the gearbox between your legs, thus making the seat position way higher and feels like a bigger tractor.

It has a lot of power and it's very a robust machine. I've mowed really high brush with 540E gear on the PTO and it didn't tried to bog down on me.

By the way, Branson added the 4815H and 4815R in their website last month or so. It has the A2300NA engine with 48 hp.

Take a closer look. They are TYM chassis not Branson. From the current models it look like a change in the hood and loader. As far as engine they have used Yanmar but being they own Branson it is possible they may switch. They should have them on display at Louisville in a couple months so then we will know for sure.

If some Kentucky members could post here some info about those new TYM models it would be very kind of them.

Pete-Mi said they will be on display in Louisville on February 16, 2019.

I am curious about the engines : Kukje, Yanmar or Perkins ?

Ptsg, I know very well isodiametrical italian tractors.

- They are interesting on slopes as their gravity center is very low.
- On some models the seat can be reversed and you can run a front flail mower very easily.Look at these videos :

Antonio carraro. Paul - YouTube

trattore Carraro TRX94 reversibile con trincia spostamento idraulico - YouTube

- They are interesting under the trees or under grape or kiwi fruit pergolas.

BUT........ they have many drawbacks :

- They don't have a flat deck. You get a bulky transmission between the legs when operating them.
- They are not at all ergonomic.
- They have a huge loss of power between the engine and the PTO. It is such an enormous difference that the companies building them keep the info secret (Antonio Carraro, Valpadana, BCS, Ferrari, Pasquali etc...). Try to ask the PTO HP to a dealer. In EU : no answer ! They only communicate on engine HP
-It's difficult (but still possible) to mount a loader on them (Bonelli).
- They are expensive. The top prices for Antonio Carraro.

The tractors I mentioned are regular compact tractors but with no platform. But I agree, isodiametric tractors are really expensive.

That lost PTO HP is something I didn't knew about. I've almost bought a AC Tigre 4400 tractor instead of the Branson, but the dealer didn't care at all on the two tractors I had to trade. But I'm glad it ended up that way. It was kinda basic model, no shuttle shift for instance.

Not sure why there is such a difference between a regular tractor about the PTO hp.
