Excessive wear on both the coupler and pto stub. Replacing one or the other won't fix the problem for very long. BOTH need to be replaced. I've never seen a pto stub worn that bad.

Ditto... I've got some 1 1/8 oem ford 'shorty' pto stubs that have more meat on them than that worn down 1 3/8 stub!!

Someone might suggest that temporary repair would be to weld on PTO extending adapter if it is impossible to find a new PTO output shaft (I know it sounds bad but its better than junking the tractor). But that's not officially coming from me... smile...

That sounds like a good idea to me as a cheap fix :D

Wow... at $50.00, I hope there was also alternative payment involved (BEER!). That sounds like an awesome deal.

I've been involved in a few of those alternative payment (beer) deals. It's usually been my finding that it's cheaper in the long run to pay cash ;)

I went by the Case/IH dealer in Terrell the other day, and, no surprise here, they didn't have one. They gave me the # of a salvage place in Gainesville, but they don't have a website. From what I've read over on the YT site, there may be more than one type/size (on the gear driven end). I guess I need to call and see. I can still use the tractor, just not for pto powered implements.

On a side note, I noticed that they are going to be selling the new Yanmar/CC's. They had some on the yard, but I didn't have my camera with me.
