While going through the process of the loader adjustment - I found myself down there near the breather hose exit. This is the hose that comes off the engine oil fill tube on the TC25/29. When idleing - a small amount of steamy looking gas emits from it. Not blowing out but kind of lightly rolling out. Not much - but enough that I could see it. What is normal?

I think what you described is normal. If it were "puffing" or "blowing" and left a trail of smoke, I might be concerned. All diesels have blow-by and that is exactly what the vent pipe is designed to allow to escape. I bet the end of the pipe has some "soupy" black condensation on it too. I wouldn't worry about the slight vapor or the condensation. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Jinman,

You are right - the "stuff" you describe is present too!

Thanks,

Cliff
