Bro-Tek Skidplate - how to buy?

I've had the Bro-Tek rear plate on for about a year and have been very happy with it. My BX24 operates on some rough ground on our 20 acres. I've bottomed out a lot, gotten stuck, almost rolled it, etc. Never had an undercarraige problem and the plastic fan is intact. I'm glad I read a thread on here about the achilles' heel of the BX's before I drove the thing on rough ground. I thought it was kind of a pain to install, however. It seems to have pretty tight tolerances on the 24.

What is the purpose of the front skid plate?

The front skid plate protects the fuel pump/filter & wiring.

As far as the front skid plate, the gearbox of the mid mount mower (MMM) will come in contact with the front skid plate.
You plan on leaving the mid mount mower on there really no need for the front skid plate, the mower covers the area.

If you plan on removing the MMM, it only takes 2-4minutes to install the front skid plate.
