Broke ground this weekend

This is the beginning of a shop / home. First priority is getting a road cut, here is a video of that. I am starting with bare pasture, and turning it into a home. This is going to be work, but Its going to pay off! If it looks like I have never driven a skid steer in the video, you are correct.

I was able to get a path for the road, and some vegitation cleared in the area I want to put a shop. Next thing on the list is leveling and putting down gravel where I want to put a Conex. The road will come after the Conex is in place.

The Bobcat dealer dropped off the equipment to demo. Not only is this S650 going to stay on my property but he had to find another for a friend of mine.

I did some brush cutting today on the main entrance, and a field that will eventually be my back yard. Brush cutting with an air conditioned Bobcat is like a dream come true!

Got the brush cutting done and I started making the pad. I had to bring in a LOT of dirt and clay to make this level. This is the first time making a pad, so it took a while to figure things out. I also got the drive leveled, and ready for gravel this weekend. These shots were taking before I got everything level, but you get the idea.
